The Governorship Elections Tribunal for Kogi State sitting in Abuja is set to deliver judgement tomorrow, Saturday, setting up a flurry of anxious moments in the camps of the two leading parties in the election- The All Progressives Congress(APC) and the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) respectively.
The PDP had approached the Tribunal alleging gross irregularities in the results of APC in 7 local governments of the state, while the APC insists the election was free and fair, describing PDP as a bad loser.
The State Chairman of APC, Abdullahi Bello has expressed optimism that Governor Yahaya Bello and the party would celebrate a positive verdict tomorrow, spokesperson for PDP, Austin Okhai said it’s the PDP that would carry the day.
