The Senior Special Assistant(SSA) Security to Kogi State Governor on Kabba-Bunu LGA, Hon Ariyo Adebayo has commended the decision of the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to lockdown the Local Government for two weeks over the COVID-19 issue.
In a statement, Adebayo said the decision was in the best interest of the people and vowed to strictly enforce it on behalf of the Governor.
” I most humbly commend our hardworking Governor for this bold decision to order a lockdown. It is in our interest and I vow to carry out the order without fear or favour.
May I at this point urge the good people of Kabba-Bunu LGA to be law abiding, while all efforts would be made to cushion the effects of the lock down by government. I am also appealing to the traditional rulers to properly educate and sensitize their subjects on this development”, he stated.
The SSA advised the citizenry to observe all the necessary safety measures in place like wearing of face masks, keeping social distance and regular washing of hands.
