In the spirit of responsive leadership, President Muhammadu Buhari has pitched his tents with a legion of Nigerians seeking justice for Vera Omozuwa, a 100-level student of UNIBEN gruesomely killed after being r’aped by suspected cultists.
The president expressed his sadness over the callous murder of the UNIBEN student as contained in a tweet on his official and verified Twiter account on Tuesday night, June 2.
Buhari extended condolences to the family and relatives of the victim and promised that no stone will be left untouched in the course of seeking justice for the deceased 22-year-old microbiology student.
The president also said he expected the operatives of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to investigate this case and ensure that the culprits are brought to book.
“I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Uwaila Omozuwa,” Buhari said in a tweet timed 7:47 pm
“I expect the Nigeria Police Force to speedily and diligently investigate this case and ensure that all the culprits responsible for this barbaric act are brought to justice.”
Buhari said he expected the police operatives to conduct a thorough investigation and apprehend the culprits.
