The Lagos Business School ALUMNI (LBS) today held a meeting with the family of ngozi Nwosu the 13 year old girl who was raped and impregnated in Abuja by one Okezie Okoro.
The meeting which was held at Bon Hotel Grand Towers in Katampe, Abuja had the presence of some leadership members of the Northern Branch of the LBS led by the President, Mrs Ekatte Umoh, Nze Chidi Duru, CEO, BON Hotel Grand Towers, and Mrs Joy Okorodudu.
Nze Duru who is charged by the Association as its representative to coordinate efforts at rehabilitating the rape victim, said in the meeting that the essence was to see to the welfare of the young mother and to ensure there is consistency in what the ALUMNI had earlier promised.
He highlighted plans by the association for Ngozi all through to finishing her University education to include :
_ Payment of her school fees to the university level , which sums up to Nine Years project for the Association
_ Rentage of a suitable apartment for the girl.
_ Provision of Seed Money to Ngozi’s mother to start a trade of her choice to keep the family going
– Upkeep of Ngozi’s baby from Nursery School’s level.
In a related development, the association extended its humanitarian gesture to Ngozi’s elder sister, Chidinma, by offering to pay for her WAEC fees in order to encourage her back to school.
