KOGI GOVERNOR LIFTS LOCKDOWN ORDER ON KABBA/BUNU LGA

The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has lifted the Total Lockdown Order he imposed on Kabba-Bunu LGA in the wake of the COVID-19 controversy between the government and the National Centre for Disease Control(NCDC).
The lockdown was imposed on Monday, June 1, 2020.
The State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo Twitted the decision of the Governor just now:
“Our mission in Kabba/Bunu has been accomplished. We have done contact tracing and tested members of the family of the disputed case. They all tested negative. There is no need to continue to lockdown the LGA. I therefore lift the lockdown with immediate effect”. -GYB
