The Senior Special Assistant on Security(SSA) to Kogi State Governor in charge of Kabba/Bunu Local Government, Hon. Adebayo Ariyo today conveyed a meeting with other security stakeholders within the LGA in order to embrace some form of synergy to enable them curtail the menace of banditry and other unlawful activities in the area.
Ariyo in his speech charged all the security stakeholders to step up their games in order to ensure that criminal activities are brought down in the local government.
He urged the security chiefs in particular to ensure that they follow the prosecution of any suspected criminal to serve as deterrent to others.
Representatives of the various Security outfits in attendance in in a joint remark thanked Hon. Adebayo for his support and vowed to uphold their oath to protect the lives and Properties of the people as eshrined in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Royal fathers who were all in attendance in their large numbers were led by the Obaro of Kabba, HRM Oba Dele Owoniyi and the Olu Bunu of Bunu Kingdom, HRH Oba J.A Ikusemoro. The Obaro who spoke on behalf of other Traditional rulers used the medium to express their delighted for the meeting aimed at enhancing safety of the people.
He thanked the administration of Governor Bello for his prompt response in the area of security of Kabba/Bunu and kogi State at large.
