There seems to be light at the end of the tunnel for Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki after his disqualification by the All Progressives Congress(APC) as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar reportedly called the embattled Governor last Friday, June 12, 2020, encouraging him to join the People’s Democratic Party(PDP).
The former Presidential candidate of PDP was also said to have assured him of soft landing with waivers guaranteed for him.
There had been initial reports that the PDP would not grant Obaseki automatic ticket for the forthcoming Governorship election in Edo State.
