The Edo State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress Party, ( APC), led by Col. David Imuse (rtd), has recommended to the National Working Committee(NWC), the exposition of the State governor , Godwin Obaseki, Anselm Ojezua and Dr Aisosa Amadasum from the party.
Col. Imuse, the State Chairman of the party disclosed this in Benin City on Sunday while briefing journalists on the recent disqualification of governor Godwin Obaseki.
Imuse said, “Godwin Obaseki, Anselm Ojezua and some 0ther persons have gone to court in violation of Article 21,sub- Section D5 of the APC Constitution in several Court cases at the Edo State High Court and the Federal High Court. They have shopped for injunctions and rulings to circumvent the process of law and the provision of our Party Constitution in defiance of democratic norms.”
” we wish to commend and appreciate members of the APC in Edo State for their resolute determination to uphold the Mantra of our Party especially in the face of the oppressive and draconian administration of Godwin Obaseki in the last three and half years.he concluded.
When contacted for his reaction, Anselm Ojezua said, he was in Irrua, I remain the chairman of APC in Edo State and the Imuse and his group are already facing content of Court. ” he started.
