Kogi PDP Governorship Primaries: Supreme Court Rules this Friday

The Supreme Court will this Friday deliver judgement in the preelection case brought by Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim, a Governorship aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) in the last Governorship Primaries election held in Lokoja, Kogi State September 2019.
Alhaji Ibrahim had approached the apex court in April
seeking to be declared winner in the September 2019 contest, having scored the highest number of votes cast by Kogi PDP delegates.
PDP had declared his closest rival in the contest, Engineer Musa Wada as the winner of the Primaries and party’s candidate for the Kogi State Governorship election held in November 16 last year.
