How Governor Fayemi took Giadom to see Buhari but Failed in his mission

Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman, Nigerian Governor’s Forum(NGF), Dr Kayode Fayemi on Tuesday took former Deputy National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Victor Giadom to Aso Rock Villa in a failed attempt to see President Muhammadu Buhari.
Dgovscoops gathered the aim of the visit was to introduce Giadom, who has been laying claim to being acting national chairman of the party to the President so as to get his buy-in especially his endorsement for the emergency National Executive Council(NEC) meeting Giadom called for Thursday.
Dgovscoops however learnt that the mission failed because Fayemi and Giadom was not able to see Buhari despite spirited attempts.
But reports say they succeeded in meeting the President’s Chief of Staff, Prof Ibrahim Gambari, who insisted Buhari had closed for work.
Fayemi is largely perceived as one of the anti-Oshiomhole and anti-Tinubu forces in the ruling party.
