Kogi House of Assembly Member Dies, Speaker expresses sadness

Members of the Kogi State House of Assembly are in mourning mood over the death of their colleague, Hon John Abba representing Ibaji Constituency.
A statement issued by the Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Kogi East, Hon Ahmed Attah said it was painful to lose the lawmaker to the cold hands of death.
Meanwhile, the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon Mathew Kolawole has commisserated with the people of Ibaji Constituency over the death of Hon Abbah.

Kogi Speaker mourns Hon John Abbah, commiserates with Ibaji Constituency
Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole has received with shock and sadness the death of the Honourable Member representing Ibaji State Constituency, Hon. John Abbah which occurred this morning after a protracted illness.
He described his death at this time as a monumental loss to the 7th assembly considering his robust contributions on the floor of the House.
He sympathized with the immediate family and the people of Ibaji State Constituency over the demise of their father, illustrious son and outstanding representative, noting that he will be greatly missed.
He said it is very sad and painful to lose a bread winner of a family, stressing that his demise has created a great vacuum that will be hard to fill.
He noted that death is an expected end of every mortal hence he enjoined his family to take solace in the words of God which say everything under the sun have time, a time to be born, and time to die.
Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole, on behalf of the 7th Assembly, management and staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly wish to commiserate with the immediate family of Hon. John Abbah, the Government and people of Ibaji Local Government on the death of their illustrious son and father, praying that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
