The family of 2nd Republic Senator, Joe Obasaju from Kabba, Kogi State has described as wicked rumour reports in some online media today that the Senator had died.
A senior member of the family who spoke with dgovscoops this morning wondered why some people would wish their fellow being evil.
“In case you hear any rumors circulating about the passing of Senator Joe Obasaju, please disregard. Just spoke to him and he is fine in Ilorin. There was a blog as to his passing away that is circulating around and causing much anxiety”, the family member said.
Meanwhile, the Senator’s family has threatened legal action against the media organizations that reported the false story except they immediately retract the story and tender unreserved apologies to the Distinguished Senator, his family, community and the public in general.
