Covid19: 86 Nigerians stranded in Turkey returns home

Some Nigerians who were stranded in Instabul, Turkey due to the Coronavirus pandemic returned home yesterday, at about 10:30 pm through Airpeace Airlines.

They were evacuated from Instabul and arrived Abuja on Sunday, July 5, while 27 proceed to Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos; 59 disembarked at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The Nigerian in Diaspora Commission NIDCOM, this morning, in their Twitter handle, posted the arrival of the evacuees at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja.

According to the commission, all the evacuees tested negative for COVID-19 before boarding the flight and would be embarking on a 14-day self-isolation. as mandated.
