Kogi Speaker Congratulates DCG S.S Obafaiye on His Well Deserved Elevation
Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole has congratulated DCG SS Obafaiye popularly known as Oga at the Top on his well deserved elevation to the rank of Deputy Commandant General by the Board of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
The Speaker said that, the cheering news of the promotion of DCG SS Obafaiye considering his monumental contributions to the agency as a committed and dedicated officer over the years is commendable.
He described DCG SS Obafaiye as a pragmatic and workaholic officer that has consistently distinguished himself at his duty posts wherever he has been posted to serve within the agency in the country.
He commended his professionalism in discharging his constitutional responsibility as an officer of the of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, urging him to see his elevation as an opportunity to do more in the service of his fatherland.
He said DCG SS Obafaiye is one of the shining lights that have made Kogi State proud as a gallant officer who has progressed through the ranks to the position he finds himself now, praying that God shall continue to guide him.
Speaker Kolawole prayed that God in His infinite mercy will grant him wisdom, knowledge, understanding and good health to pilot the affairs of his new responsibility.
