Pro-Chancellor of the University of Lagos(Unilag), Dr Wale Babalakin has disclosed that the embattled Vice- Chancellor of Unilag, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe was removed by the Governing Council of the University for gross misconduct bordering on fraud and other malfeasance.
Speaking on Sunrise Daily this morning on Channels Television, Babalakin said the VC among others spent over N100 Million on renovation of his official residence and those of his cronies, despite the fact that the monies were not approved by the Council.
He also disclosed that the VC also forged documents to cover up his misdemeanors.
