CSOs hold Rally, demand peaceful elections in Edo

A coalition of civil society groups with interest in good governance and electoral matters on Wednesday held a peaceful rally to demand peaceful elections in Edo State.
The rally was held at the Unity Fountain Abuja.
Spokesperson for the coalition, Kabiru Matazu, who spoke on behalf of other members of the group, appealed to the Federal Government to put in place a security strategy that will ensure the safety of residents of the State before, during and after the September 19 Edo State Governorship Election.
