The Imo state Harmonization Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Imo North senatorial bye-election Thursday rounded up the screening of all APC aspirants aspiring for the party’s ticket.

However, one of the aspirants who did not appear was Senator Ifeanyi Ararume. No reason was alluded for his absence as at Press Time.
The screening exercise which started on monday saw an array of the aspirants being grilled by the Chief Cosmos Iwu led 9-man harmonization committee at the Cabinet Office of the the Secretary to the Imo State Government In Owerri.
Aspirants screened on Monday were Hon Frank Ibeziem, Chikwem Onuoha, Hon. Mathew Omegara, Rt. Hon. Acho I him, Chief Athan Achonu, Chief Eze Okoro, Prof.Chinedum Nwaebo and Hon. Mark Uchendu respectively.
The only female aspirant ,Adanne Chidinma Uwajumogu, was reportedly grilled by the Hominization committee at the same venue on Thursday.
One of the frontline aspirants, Frank Ibeziem who spoke with dgovscoops commended the committee for a thorough job and expressed optimism that the process would bring out the best candidate for the zone.
