Prof Mrs. Florence Obi has emerged the First Female Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar.
She emerged from the 13 Applicants that were interviewed for the position yesterday.
Announcing the result of the interview this morning, Chairman/Pro Chancellor of Unical Council, Senator Nkechi Nwaogu urged the University Community to unite and work with Prof Obi towards taking the University to higher heights.
Professor Obi, who was a former Deputy Vice Chancellor in the University is a Professor of Education.
