Kogi West APC chieftain and Okun born philanthropist, Barrister David Shola Ayedogbon (Charvid) has expressed shock and sadness over the tragic incident in Felele,Lokoja,Kogi State.
The incident, which occurred along Lokoja/Abuja expressway,claimed the lives of about 23 persons, according to the sector commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC),Kogi State,left many injured, and destroyed properties worth millions of naira.
In a statement issued today in Lokoja, Ayedogbon expressed sadness and shock at the incident.
According to him,”My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased in this sad moment. May the good Lord comfort them”.
He also expressed sympathy with the State Government and the survivors while praying for the repose of the souls of those that lost their precious lives to the incident.
He also commended all security agencies and other relevant agencies that participated in the search and rescue exercise during the incident for a job well done.
