“Following the August 25th judgment of the Court of Appeal reinstating me to my job, today(Yesterday), Monday 28th September 2020, I resumed work as the Director, Planning, Policy and Statistics”.
These were the words of Ayo Olowonihi, former Director, EFCC Academy, Karu, Ayo Olowonihi, who was suspended by Ibrahim Magu, suspended Ag Chairman of EFCC from office on the flimsy excuse that he was behind the unfavourable media against his office.
All entreaties to Magu to reinstate Olowonihi even after he discovered he was on a witch hunt fell on deaf ears. Not even valid court orders could make him bulge, until the Appeal Court came to Olowonihi’s rescue during Magu’s suspension.
