Residents of Baruwa, Ipaja area of Lagos State are currently scampering to safety, following a gas explosion which occurred in the area Thursday morning.
According to eyewitness, the incident happened at about 6am.
The State Emergency Management Agencies were yet to arrive in the area at the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, one person has been confirmed killed in inferno resulting from the explosion even as five buildings have been razed in the incident.
