The Association of Female Politicians, Ondo State has felicitated with the Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, on his re-election.
The group also felicitatesd with his wife, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu and his Deputy Governor-elect, Hon Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa on their well deserved victory at the polls.
The victory of Arakunrin Akeredolu signifies a strong commitment of the people to continuity of developmental and industrialization strides which the administration exemplifies.
The group Convener, Hon. Mrs. Janet Febisola Adeyemi in a statement expressed hope that the second term will also herald renewed hope for women political emancipation . Women across the state stood solidly behind the governor and voted massively for his re-election with renewed hope that gender issues will be put on the front burner while more women will be appointed to serve in key positions where impact can be made.
