The Association of National Assembly Female Legislators has condemned outrightly the brutal acts of the Special Anti robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police force, SARS.
In a statement, the National Secretary/Administrator of the Association, Hon Janet Adeyemi said the activities of the outlawed Police unit were condemnable and deserved to the punishment it got.
She however appealed to the youths “that as concerned mothers,we identify with their struggles and feel their pains but would want them to avoid the incursion of thugs snd criminals who are capable of derailing their mission and the attainment of their objectives”.
“We assure you that as bridge builders,we shall take every necessary steps for total restoration of peace for the emergence of a new Nigeria where equitý and justice reigns.We sincerely hope that this struggle will also birth a detribalised new Nigeria”, she admonished.
