Twitter suspends NCC’S account over alleged ‘Violation’

American microblogging and social networking service, Twitter has suspended the account of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), @ngcomcommision over possible ‘violation’ .

Dgovscoops observes that the NCC Twitter handle (@NgComCommission) was labeled “Account suspended” as at the time of filing this report.

Twitter, according to its Rules on safety does not permit tweets on account of violence, terrorism/violent extremism, child sexual exploitations, Abuse/harassment, Hateful conduct, Suicide or self-harm, Sensitive media, including graphic violence and adult content,Illegal or certain regulated goods or services amongst others .

Thus, in the event of violating any of the above, Twitter is liable to suspend such account.
