A notorious Abuja kidnapper has being abducted by another kidnapper and asked to pay ransom before being released.
Mohammed Amodu was reportedly abducted by another kidnapper identified as Buba Babu and had to pay N1,555,000 for his freedom.
CP Frank Mba, revealed in Abuja on Monday, January 11 as both kidnappers were paraded and disgraced.
According to him, Babu is notorious for kidnapping citizens on Abuja highways, was third in command of a kidnap gang headed by one Buji, but the group was neutralized by the police alongside the second in command.
However, Babu took leadership of the gang and was notorious for always killing his kidnap victims and when Babu kidnapped Amodu he was shot in his arm for hesitating to pay his ransom.
Mba said Amodu had boasted to Babu that he could not be shot because he has charms which led to Amodu shooting him to show he was very serious about the ransom.
Amodu was popularly known as Confirm because he was a reputed marksman in the underworld but was still kidnapped and released for N1.5million.
He stated that he has also witnessed an operation where Buba who kidnapped him, had kidnapped 55 persons from a bus at once.
Amodu also confessed that he has saved over N15 million from kidnapping and has once kidnapped 20 victims at a time.
