GONE TOO SOON; HIS EXCELLENCY CHIEF JETHRO AKUN
We received with shock the death of our Vice National Chairman, North Central and Chairman Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard North Central His Excellency Chief Jethro Akun who died in the early hours of today.
Our dear Chief Jethro Akun was the former deputy governor of Plateau state and a founding father of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard.
He has been a strong pillar of support for the progressive and a major think-tank for the vanguard. He contributed enormously in all ramifications, using his networks, resources, human capacity, intellectual acumen and wherewithal to develop and sustain the North Central region of the BATSV.
It is with deepest sadness that we commiserate with the family of our esteemed, loyal, dependable, trusted ally whose death remain irreparable loss to us. We pray God grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
His Excellency Chief Jethro lived a life so beautifully deserves to be beautifully remembered. A life that people may speak well of at the grave. The just needs no memorial, for his deeds are his monument.
We say not in grief he is no more but live in thankfulness that he left a legacy to behold, for he came, he saw and he conquered.
As long as we live, he will continue to live, for he is a part of us, as we will continue to remember him for his selflessness and sacrifice to making life worth living for many.
Good men must die, but death cannot kill their names.
Go to sleep little angel, go to sleep, beautiful soul.
We are in touch with the family and shall inform all of the activities for the funeral rites and ceremony as soon as they unfold.
We will always miss you.
