The former VC maintained that Cross River State is over ripe for APC to takeover and bleeding for an alternative platform with people oriented policies like the APC.

While calling on leaders of the party to close ranks to win elections, he said that “Politics is a game of number, now is time to take action and stop complaining of the misrule of the PDP.

The action we need to take send the PDP parking is for us to join the APC. We need to build our numbers and increase our membership so that we can change the impression that Cross River is a PDP state. We’ve too many progressive minded people in the state to continue to remain under the poor leadership of one party “.
