The famous Principals Cup for Secondary School Football in Nigeria that was abandoned about 10 years ago was Friday, February 26 flagged off again at Agege stadium Lagos by the Honourable Minister of State Education, Hon (Dr) Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba and Sports Minister, Dr. Sunday Dare ; joined by Deputy Governor of Edo State. The Principals Cup commenced with the first match between Igbobi Secondary School and Government College Kaduna which ended in 1-1 draw. Super Eagles Legend Amokachi who is an SA to the Minister of Sports was also in attendance.
