The National Association of Kogi State Students(NAKOSS), Federal University of Lokoja Chapter Tuesday, July 13, honoured former member, House of Representatives and Publisher, DgovScoops newspaper, Hon Durosinmi Meseko with Philantropist of the Year Award.
Presenting the Award to Hon Meseko at his residence, the NAKOSS FUL CHAPTER President, Comrade Ibikunle Olajide said it was in recognition of the his contributions to humanity over the years.
He encouraged the former lawmaker not to relent in his philanthropic efforts, adding that posterity would justify his noble efforts.
Comrade Olajide was accompanied by the Vice-President of the Chapter, Miss Maris Adebola to present the award.
Responding, Hon Meseko thanked the student body for the honour and vowed never to stop using every means at his disposal to help humanity.
He lamented his inability to attend the Association’s Week due to his mother’s burial ceremony that clashed with it and promised he would always be on hand to assist the student body.
