The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), has marked a property of former Kano state Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso for investigation.
A source in the commission disclosed that operatives of the anti – graft agency listed the multi- billion Naira property among many properties allegedly acquired illegally by the former governor.
The source further hinted that the operation was sequel to a petition of mis-appropriation of funds by some concerned indigenes who claimed he diverted the funds during his stewardship as the governor of the most populous state in the country.

It would be recalled that former governor was under investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over an allegation of diversion of local government funds amounting to N3.08billion allegedly diverted for his presidential campaign in 2015.
