The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has sent its warm felicitations to Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s 61st Independence anniversary.

In a message released by the group’s Director of Media and Publicity, Adeyanju Tosin, the group called for unity and accommodation, stressing that the country would surmount its present challenges, and emerge stronger.

The message said: “We wish all Nigerians a happy 61st Independence anniversary.

“It may seem as though we are passing through insurmountable challenges, but we are very intimately aware of the can do Nigerian spirit which will help us surmount our present challenges.

“We call on all Nigerians to renew faith with Nigeria as we add another year to our age. We will get better, we will be greater, without doubt.

“We also seize this opportunity to call for togetherness, oneness and accommodation for all. We must accept the fact that none of us is as great as all of us.

TSG urged Nigerians to live in harmony irrespective of religious or ethnic diversity.

“Finally, we admonish well-meaning Nigerians to engage only in acts that would heal our fault lines by promoting ethnic and religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence, which would engender Nigeria’s growth and development.’’
