Popular Yoruba Nollywood actress, Yewande Adekoya, has accused her husband, Abiodun Ishola Thomas of emotionally abusing her for 14 years of their marriage, reports Dgovscoops.
Adekoya spoke in response to report that there is serous crisis in her marriage to the film producer which had led to the couple abandoning their matrimonial home.
The mother of two has reportedly moved to her father’s house that is only ten minutes away from her matrimonial home.
According to Yewande, after Abiodun Ishola disvirgined her and they got married, he started cheating on her with multiple women while she trusted him to be faithful. She only started noticing his inconsistencies later which came as a shock to her. She has confirmed that despite being the financial backbone of their marriage, he used to speak to her with absolute disregard and coldness.
She allegedly had to beg for his love and for him to act responsibly as the man in the family, but according to her, he just wanted to enjoy himself and never wanted anything to do with the serious aspects of their lives.
The actress claimed that she used to cry everyday for all the years she spent with him, and it allegedly got to a point where she almost ran mad from his mistreatment. She is grateful to God that she was able to go for therapy and she had her family by her side.
Despite all of these, Yewande Adekoya has asked that her estranged husband should not be dragged by anyone because she’s still very much in love with him.
Abiodun Ishola allegedly left their house first and in her words, “he hasn’t even bothered to call me since he moved out”.
Apparently, Yewande Adekoya is not allowing this matrimonial crisis to weigh her down. She has been minding the business that pays her and posting funny clips and adverts on her Instagram page lately.
