All Progressives Congress Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s bid to occupy the nation’s number one office received a boost recently with his endorsement by Balyesa State Traditional Council led by its Chairman, HRM Bubaraye Dakolo Agada IV, Ibenanaowei of Ekpetiama Kingdom.
Tinubu had visited the royal fathers at the Council’s Yenagoa secretariat as part of his campaign activities across the nation.
HRM Baburaye Dakolo, speaking for no fewer than thirty of his colleagues present at the occasion, promised the APC candidate massive vote from the state.
” You’ve sold yourself very well and clear. You’ve spoken well. Although the law does not permit us be partisan, there’s a way we do it. Now we know where we are going. You’ll see our hands at the polls”, King Baburaye Dakoko told Tinubu.
Earlier, the APC candidate had lamented poor state of infrastructure in the state despite its vast aquatic resources.
Tinubu pledged to turn the riverine state to Miami and New Orleans, global tourism and real estate destinations.
” We will transform Balyesa with its internally generated revenue as we did in Lagos where we moved from 600m naira monthly to 5billion”, Tinubu said.
He added ” Balyesa is opened to massive urban development with its great water resources. Everyone is witness to how we have conquered the water to build new cities across Lagos. We will do it here in Balyesa that you’ll have no need for Abuja money again”.
