Notable leaders from Okigwe Zone, Imo State have thrown their weights behind Sir Frank Ibezim, the APC Senatorial Candidate for the October 31st, 2020 Imo North bye election.
This was the high point of the meeting held at the county home of Chief Tony Chukwu, leader of APC in Okigwe zone which attracted a mammoth crowd of Okigwe electorates, which described Sir. Frank Ibezim as a man whose pedigree and antecedents precedes and speaks positive things about.
The leaders lent their voices in saying that the good people of Okigwe made a wise choice in the candidature of Ibezim and appealed to them to support and ensure they vote for him in the upcoming election.
Chief Chukwu enjoined all APC faithfuls in the Zone to support and work for the success of Ibezim who is the flag bearer of the party in the last Imo North Senatorial APC Primary election.
In his remarks, Frank Ibezim expressed his happiness over the overwhelming support and solidarity shown to him by Okigwe people and reassured them that when he emerges as their senator, he would bring uncommon transformation and development to the zone.
Those in attendance were the State Chairman of APC, Chief Marcellinus Nlemigbo, Member Representing Okigwe North in the House of Representative, Hon. Mrs. Miriam Onuoha, Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chiji Collins, Members of the State Assembly, Honourable Commissioners, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Interim Chairmen and Members of the Six area councils, other appointees from Okigwe zone extraction as well as Opinion leaders and other relevant Stakeholders.
Some of the Senatorial aspirants in attendance were, Rt. Hon. Acho Ihim, Hon. Matthew Omegara and Chief Bright Nwachukwu all spiced up the occasion.
